Computers and technology
Milton State School is a BYOD (bring your own device)
school. 21st century education
integrates technologies, engaging students in ways not previously possible,
creating new learning and teaching possibilities, enhancing achievement and
extending interactions with local and global communities.
Tuckshop
The P&C Association operates a tuckshop for the
convenience of school families and to raise additional funds to enhance
opportunities and resources for our students. A full Tuckshop menu is offered
from Wednesday to Friday each week.
Uniform shop
The uniform shop is located near the multi purpose
area (at the back of A block). The shop is managed by a convenor and supported
by volunteers.
Outside of school hours care
Milton State School has an established and fully
accredited outside school hours / vacation care program – MOSHC - welcoming students
from prep through to year 6.
The Hive
The library is the hub of Milton State School. It is
located in a central position and is visited by every class on a weekly basis. An
excellent collection of books is available for
both teachers and children.
