The Milton State School swimming pool is 25 yards in length. A variety of activities are available at the school pool.
Milton Marlins Swimming Club
Membership
is open to children of all ages and is not restricted to students of Milton
State School. Siblings, friends and children from the broader community are all
welcome. New members are welcome at any time. Swimming Club is on every Friday
night of Terms 1 and 4 starting at 5.30pm.
A Milton Marlins member can either be:
- A Recreational
Swimmer; a swimmer who participates in the Friday club nights only, competing
against their own personal best times
- A Competitive Swimmer;
a swimmer who participates in Friday club nights, and competes in interclub
carnivals and Swimming Queensland affiliated meets.
Recerational Membership fees are charged at a casual
rate of $5 per night or a family membership for $50 for a term or $80 for a
season (Terms 4 & 1).
Competitive swimmers
will require an
additional fee to register with Swimming Queensland (SQ). Swimming Queensland memberships are through their
website.

Milton State School Swim School
Milton State School Pool is managed by Ryan and Bec Emmerson and
has a comprehensive coaching program including Learn-to-Swim, Stroke
Correction, Squad Training, Adult Squad, Aqua Aerobics and Junior Water Polo.
The swim school runs the
school swimming program Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9am-3pm during Terms 1
and 4. Other programs are available before and after school and on non-school
swimming days. Intensive lessons are also available in the school holidays.
The swim school is not
restricted to students of Milton State School – everyone is welcome.
