GUITAR LESSONS         

These lessons are conducted by one of our talented instrumental music teachers, Mr Tom Adeney.  They are held in half hour blocks during school time.  The cost is $350 for each Semester. Should your child choose to participate, you will be invoiced on your term statement.  Tom can be contacted via email: taden3@eq.edu.au for further information.


INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC - (EDUCATION QUEENSLAND FUNDED PROGRAMS)

Strings - Year 3-6 Students ONLY                                       

Mr Tom Adeney runs our strings program.  Cello and Violin music books are $17.70 each.

Wind -Year 4-6 Students ONLY  -  Ms Katherine Zorzetto – kzorz1@eq.edu.au.

Costs for both these programs are: - $100 per year if you need to borrow a school instrument, or $60 if you have your own instrument.  Places in either group are subject to instrument availability and acceptance by each music teacher into their program. If a student has applied for this program, the teacher will make contact with the child and parents through written correspondence inviting them to be a part of the program.

 

CHOIR REHEARSALS

Choir rehearsals are led by Ms Bree Zernike. Bree holds a Diploma of Music Theatre (singing).  She has performed in numerous musicals and was the lead, playing Mary Poppins at the Qld State Schools Creative Generations in 2013.  She also hosted the Qld State Schools Showcase for Excellence in 2013.  To cover Bree's time, stationery and piano accompaniment, the cost in 2020 is $120 per semester.  A letter will be sent home via email with more information.

Junior Choir – Thursdays - 7:45am to 8:30am;  

Senior Choir – Thursdays – 3:10pm to 4:10pm
